Boulder County from the American state of Colorado was recently hit by a devastating wildfire. The event left behind some apocalyptic scenarios, as hundreds of homes were consumed. But despite such aftermath, it’s incredible that no deaths were reported, according to CNN.
Could it be a coincidence? Or could it be a New Year’s miracle? That’s what many people are asking themselves after the event. However, Gov. Jared Polis is placing his bet on the second option, and he’s justified to believe such a thing. Mr. Polis declared, as also cited by CNN:
We might have our very own New Year’s miracle on our hands if it holds up that there was no loss of life.
We’re so glad to find out that nobody died!

Jared Polis also declared, as cited by CNN:
There’s no way to quantify in any financial way, the price of a loss — of losing the chair that was handed down to you from your grandmother, of losing your childhood yearbooks, of losing your photos, of losing your computer files — which hundreds of Colorado families have experienced today with no warning.
Mark Smith also gives us all a glimpse of the magnitude of the tragic event by declaring, as cited by the same source:
Our home, cars, and everything we had in our home lost to the fires that ripped through our community,
Thank you to those who reached out. Processing how to completely start over and grateful for our health.
Many people were forced to flee even without receiving a warning at first.
Unfortunately, wildfires occurring in the USA don’t represent anything new. For instance, the Dixie Fire happening several months ago was recognized as the third most prevalent wildfire in the history of California. The fire grew by an incredible 285 square kilometers.
