Johnson & Johnson Vaccine: 28 New Cases of Potentially Life-Threatening Blood Clots are Identified

The world is once again alarmed because of a recent announcement made by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Those who want to be vaccinated for COVID with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine have a new reason to worry, as 28 people of those who already received the jab have developed 28 potentially life-threatening blood clots.
Considering that over 8.7 million people received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for COVID, some would say that it’s not such a big deal. But could they be right? The information comes from NBCNews.com, and the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was paused by the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration on April 13. Meanwhile, the pause was lifted on April 23.
All 28 patients received the vaccination shots before the pause that began on April 13.
Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, who is the leader of the CDC’s COVID vaccine safety monitoring work, says that current evidence is suggesting a plausible causal association with the vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson and the thrombosis cases with thrombocytopenia syndrome.
