Since 2024 is just around the corner, as we have a bit more than two weeks left until the new year starts, it’s time to see what the famous astrologer Nostradamus had to say in this regard. Of course, his alleged predictions can be interpreted as nothing that could have truly predicted the future, but even so, it’s interesting to see how Nostradamus believed that the world would be in the following centuries.
In a previous article, we spoke about the predictions Nostradamus supposedly had for 2023, and those seemed to include World War III, economic disaster, a landing on Mars, and more. We can be happy that none of those have happened, although if a new world war starts in 2024, the chances are high that historians will link it to the ongoing war in Ukraine if there are any historians left after a large-scale war, considering that the weapons of nowadays can cause quite a mess at a global scale. Also, a landing on Mars is only a few years away if the plans of NASA will go as they should, considering that the Artemis mission will start in 2025.
However, it’s time to see what are the supposed predictions that Nostradamus had for 2024, thanks to Euronews. Of course, the statements of the famous astrologer could easily be the subject of multiple interpretations, which means that you should definitely take them with a grain of salt:
A war with China?
Nostradamus’ forecasts included a “combat and naval battle,” while also saying that a “Red adversary will become pale with fear / Putting the great Ocean in dread.”
It’s not hard to understand why some interpretations of Nostradamus’ text think about China as being the “red adversary.” Either way, China is currently the second-most powerful country in the world when it comes to economy, after the USA. Any war, including two superpowers, with one of them being China, can have serious consequences and affect the world economy in various ways.
Since China is a major player in the global economy, as it’s both a consumer and manufacturer, a war could disrupt international trade and affect the supply chains of numerous countries.
Hopefully, there will be no war with China in 2024, but we can all agree that there are numerous tensions out there between countries.
A climate disaster
We can also expect a major climate disaster in 2024, according to the words of Nostradamus. The French astrologer wrote the following: “The dry earth will grow more parched / And there will be great floods when it is seen.”
It’s not a secret to anybody that over the past few years, the world has had a lot to deal with climate change and its dreadful impact on the environment. Climate change can also affect crops, whether we like it or not. Nostradamus also wrote, “Very great famine through pestiferous wave.”
Prince Harry becomes a King
It is believed that Nostradamus was referring to King Charles III when he said that a “King of the Isles” would be “driven out by force.” The French astrologer also said that the person in question will be usurped by “one who will have no mark of a king.”
A new Pope?
Pope Francis managed to irritate a lot of Christians and priests through his controversial comments about homosexuality, atheism, and other subjects. It seems that Nostradamus predicted that the Pope will be replaced in 2024, as he wrote:
“Through the death of a very old Pontiff / A Roman of good age will be elected / Of him it will be said that he weakens his see / But long will he sit and in biting activity.”
It’s also true that Pope Francis has some health issues, but he also has a venerable age: 87 years old.
Nostradamus is best known for his book, “Les Prophéties,” which is a collection of 942 poetic quatrains often considered to predict future events.
