The Story Of The Oldest And Cutest Wombat Ever Held In Captivity

The wombat is a marsupial mammal from Australia, that usually digs underground for making a shelter. It is known as a cute animal with a short tail and a face that no one can resist.

The oldest wombat ever known to the public was named Patrick and he lived all of his life at the Ballarat Wildlife Park from Australia. The cute animal was a sensation between the staff and those who visited the park. He even had a Facebook page and a Tinder account!

The adorable animal was rescued when it was still a baby after its mother has been hit by a car. It became an internet sensation really quickly after it got famous on social media.

Unfortunately, Patrick has died at the age of 31 in April 2017, but everyone remembers him as the mascot who made everyone’s lives a little bit better.
