When it comes to cars it is impossible not to compare the latest models. It is important to analyse all the details and put them side by side in order to see which one deserves your money. This time we will take a look at two 2018 models: the Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE and Ford Mustang GT.
They both look promising so we need to take a closer look in order to establish which one wins this fight. Let’s see what they have to offer.
Ford Mustang GT
The engine of the Ford Mustang revs 500 rpm higher to 7,500 rpm, and it also comes with both port and direct injection. The car also comes with line lock, which allows you to disable the rear brakes so that you will enable easier burnouts.
The car weighs 3.863 pounds and when it comes to tests, it was slower than the Camaro. For example, in the 0-60, the Ford Mustang needed 4.4 seconds. However, if you do care about burnouts, than the Ford managed to defeatist rival easily.
Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE
The Chevrolet has Magnetic Ride control, 455 horsepower, a 6.2-liter pushrod and five levels of Performance Traction Management. It also comes with coil springs, anti-roll bar, struts, and others, as well as eight airbags: dual front, front side, f/r curtain and front knee.
In a race, the Chevrolet was behind the Mustang the entire time, however, in a different track the Chevy managed to get a lap of 24.0 seconds, compared to the Mustang that needed 24.4 seconds. Even the BMW M4 needed 24.1 seconds for that. The car also did well on road tests, and it was easy to notice that it never oversteers.
