Platinum Games Suspected of Teasing Bayonetta 3

Platinum Games Suspected of Teasing Bayonetta 3

Platinum Games who is the developer that’s directly in charge of the Bayonetta franchise has recently started teasing the third installment, or at least that’s what everybody thinks. Platinum Games has uploaded a short clip that showcases scenes from the first two Bayonetta games and it repeated them three times. While this might not point directly towards a third game installment, it still gives us something to think about.

Teases and Announcements

Bayonetta has first arrived on the PC on April 11th and ever since then, the game developer has kept on releasing various teasers and announcements. At first there was a random collection of images which had the protagonist of Vanquished in them. From the looks of it, we think it’s safe to say that Platinum Games is not an ordinary game developer.

Bayonneta Franchise

The second installment in the Bayonetta franchise was launched back in 2014, while the first game first saw the light of day in 2009. Seeing the long time span between these game installments, Bayonetta fans are surely expecting another game to pop up any time now.

Scalebound

The main reason why Platinum Games hasn’t released another Bayonetta game yet is because it has been focused on different projects. The game developer was all set and ready to start working on the highly anticipated Scalebound game, but the project was canceled. This means that Platinum Games now has the necessary time to start developing Bayonetta 3.

E3 2017

Considering the fact that Bayonetta 2 was announced during E3 2014, we can be sure that Platinum Games is going to keep the tradition alive and unveil Bayonetta 3 during the upcoming E3 which will take place in June. Summer is just around the corner and we won’t have to wait until we can get our first glimpse at the official Bayonetta 3 trailer.

We should also mention the fact that everything we know about Bayonetta 3 right now is based on rumors and speculations, therefore everything is subjective to change. However, we can be sure that everyone is hoping that Platinum Games is indeed pointing towards Bayonetta 3.
