You Can Decrease Cholesterol Levels in a Few Weeks By Consuming Specific Fruit

Keeping your cholesterol levels high is a pretty dangerous maneuver for your health. In this way, fatty deposits will be added to your blood vessels. Therefore, not enough blood will be flowing through your arteries. In some cases, clots will form and lead to heart attack or stroke.

Luckily enough, our body has its ways of warning us that cholesterol levels are high. Therefore, you should be extra cautious if you have to deal with numbness, nausea, extreme fatigue, chest brain, shortness of breath, and more. All of these are signs that your cholesterol level may be high.

Nature never seems to disappoint us if we know how to use it. Except for our own bodies triggering the alarm for us when our health is in danger, there are plenty of known ways to decrease those cholesterol levels. You can try adding whey protein, omega-3 fatty acids, eliminating trans fats, increasing soluble fiber, and so on. But you won’t be able to get rid of high cholesterol levels too fast. That’s why you should be aware of the fruit that we’ll be giving special attention to today: grapes.

Grapes can lower cholesterol levels in just a few weeks

Daily Mail writes about the latest findings of researchers from California: consuming grapes can significantly decrease those cholesterol levels that you might worry about.

The researchers gave participants 46 grams of whole grape powder each day, meaning to provide the equivalent of two servings of California table grapes. It was found that the diversity of bacteria from the gut is increased due to consuming grapes. That can only mean that the immune system is strengthened. The levels of cholesterol were also decreased. The levels of bile acids were also reduced by the consumption of grapes.

Zhaoping Li, who’s a nutritionist and medicine professor, explained as quoted by Daily Mail:

We found that grapes have a beneficial effect on gut bacteria, which is great news, since a healthy gut is critical to good health,

This study deepens our knowledge and expands the range of health benefits for grapes, even as the study reinforces the heart health benefits of grapes with lowered cholesterol.

The new study was published in the journal Nutrients.
