It’s been just revealed that gamma rays have unexpected effects on longevity. Check out these reports, especially since we have recently revealed the fact that there’s been a huge gamma rays explosion that took place and affected the Earth’s ionosphere.

Gamma rays and the living body

Animal model studies have examined the effect of long-term whole body gamma rays on life span, with the aim of establishing a no observed adverse effects level (NOAEL) to determine an acceptable worker exposure standard.

However, these studies have also revealed that low dose rates and cumulative doses can actually improve the longevity of male and female mice and guinea pigs.

Following extensive and large-scale follow-up investigations with various mouse strains and rats, it has been observed that there are inter-strain/species differences in response.

Some models have provided strong evidence for an increase in longevity with low doses.

Further studies in mouse models were generally well-designed, well-conducted, and used extensive numbers of mice. In all experiments that demonstrated enhanced longevity, the average lifespan was increased by 10-30%, but not the maximum lifespan potential.

It is believed that the apparent enhancement in longevity results from the stimulation of hematopoietic and immune systems following an initial low-level chronic injury to the bone marrow.

These findings suggest that there may be a potential for using low-dose interventions to increase lifespan and that further research in this area is warranted.
