Moderna Just Halted Vaccine Trial Over ‘Adverse Event’

It has been just revealed the fact that Moderna has halted a vaccine trial over adverse events. Check out the latest reports about the matter below.

Moderna halts vaccine trial

A clinical trial for a new vaccine developed by Moderna has been stopped due to an adverse event experienced by one of the participants.

The Epoch Times has confirmed that the trial was conducted for the Epstein-Barr virus vaccine and was launched in early 2022. Workers at two of the trial sites reported that the trial had been paused.

According to Maurice Beck, the recruitment manager for Tekton Research, an update was received about the adverse event that initiated the pause for dosing, but he did not receive any details about the event. Independent reporter Alex Berenson also reported on an email he obtained that announced the halt.

The message, titled “all dosing must pause immediately!” informed people that the adverse event was suspected to be myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation.

“We have been informed today of an adolescent subject … that has met a pause rule of ‘possible case of myocarditis,'” the email stated. “In line with protocol guidance, this necessitates an immediate suspension of all dosing for ALL adolescent subjects.”
According to The Epoch Times, an investigator from Moderna sent an email on November 16, informing that the trial had been paused. The Lynn Health Science Institute also confirmed the pause in the trial.

Mr. Beck stated on November 17 that there was no estimated timeline for resuming the trial. However, he later added on November 21 that the dosing pause was lifted within a week.

When contacted, UMass Chan Medical School, which is a third site, declined to comment and referred The Epoch Times to Moderna.

There have been a lot of scandals involving the companies that have been flaunting their vaccines during the past years and these seem to continue. Stay tuned for more news.
