L.A. To Require Mandatory Vaccines In These Locations

The subject of mandatory covid vaccines is intensifying all over the world, especially for some locations. It’s been just revealed by the LA Times that proof of vaccination “will be required at indoor bars, wineries, breweries, nightclubs and lounges in Los Angeles County under a forthcoming health order aimed at further armoring the region against the pandemic.”

This mandate will be issued tomorrow and will require patrons and employees to have at least one vaccine dose by Oct. 7 and be fully vaccinated by Nov. 4 – this is what Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer stated.

Cold weather to boost indoor gatherings

L.A. County has been battling the latest wave of the coronavirus for a while now, and all this has been fueled by the highly infectious Delta variant.

The good news is that it seems that some indicators are showing that the latest surge is losing some steam.

On the other hand, officials are already thinking about what will happen in the fall and winter, when the busy holiday season will bring people together. More than that, colder weather will increasingly push gatherings and recreation indoors.

“This is a reasonable path forward that will position us to be better able to break the cycle of surges.”

This is what Ferrer said during Wednesday’s L.A. County Board of Supervisors meeting.

About 67% of Angelenos have already been at least partially vaccinated against the terrible virus.

It’s also important to note the fact that under the new order, “participants and workers at outdoor “mega events” with more than 10,000 attendees will also need to provide proof of vaccination or show that they’ve recently tested negative for the coronavirus, starting Oct. 7.”

Another issue that is worth mentioning is that this requirement is already in place for indoor events of at least 1,000 people.

Fauci drops important news about mandatory vaccines

Not too long ago, we revealed that ABCNews noted that the nation’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said he would support mandating the Covid-19 vaccines for air travel.

“I would support that,” Dr. Fauci told The Skimm podcast on Friday. He continued and said the following:

“If you want to get on a plane and travel with other people … you should be vaccinated.”

Stay tuned for more news and make sure to stay safe as well.
