The coronavirus is still lingering around the globe, and there are more and more variants popping up, one more dangerous than the other.
The viable treatments and vaccines are a potential solution to the pandemic, according to the latest reports coming from experts.
The coronavirus vaccines are surrounded by massive controversies, and healthcare experts are doing their best to convince people of their benefits.
Now, it’s been revealed that there’s a possibility that the covid vaccine could be taken as a pill. Check out the latest reports about all this revealed by BBC.
Taking coronavirus vaccines at home
BBC reported that chemist Ingemo Andersson’s team is hoping this tiny product could play a big role in the global fight against coronavirus allowing people to take powdered versions of future vaccines at home.
“It’s easy and it’s really cheap to produce,” says Johan Waborg, CEO of the firm, which usually makes inhalers for patients with asthma.
Here’s what she continued and said:
“You just remove a little plastic slip and then the vaccine inhaler is activated and you just put it in your mouth, take a deep breath and inhale.”
BBC also reported that the company, Iconovo, is collaborating with an immunology research start-up in Stockholm, ISR, which has developed a dry-powder vaccine against Covid-19.
“It uses manufactured Covid-19 virus proteins (unlike Pfizer, Moderna and Astra Zeneca which use RNA or DNA that code for these proteins), and can withstand temperatures of up to 40C,” BBC said.
Fauci reveals news about the coronavirus
It’s been just revealed that de. Anthony Fauci said today that the covid 19 is now an “outbreak among the unvaccinated.”
He addressed the issue while discussing the potential for future surges in infections throughout the country.
“It’s really an outbreak among the unvaccinated. So this is an issue, predominantly among the unvaccinated, which is the reason why we’re out there practically pleading with the unvaccinated people to go out and get vaccinated,” Fauci said recently.
