Angelina Jolie addresses divorce and the health issues it caused

The extremely popular actress Angelina Jolie recently discussed the medical condition she has, known as Bell’s palsy, to the stress she experienced during her divorce from fellow actor Brad Pitt.

Bell’s palsy is “a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face,” according to the Mayo Clinic. “In most cases, the weakness is temporary and significantly improves over weeks.”

The weakness makes half of the face appear to droop, according to medical notes.

Here’s what she had to say about the matter:

“My body reacts very strongly to stress,” she said. “My blood sugar goes up and down. I suddenly had Bell’s palsy six months before my divorce.”

Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, publicly voiced his disappointment in his daughter and others like her who demanded an immediate ceasefire in the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group.

Here’s what he had to say:
“I’m very disappointed that my daughter, like so many, has no understanding of God’s honor, God’s truths. This is about destroying the history of God’s land, the Holy land, the land of the Jews,” said Mr. Voight in a post on the social media platform X.

Angelina Jolie posted to her Instagram page,

“What happened in Israel is an act of terror. But that cannot justify the innocent lives lost in bombing a civilian population in Gaza that has nowhere to go, no access to food or water, no possibility of evacuation, and not even the basic human rights to cross a border to seek refuge.”
