19 July UK Lockdown Lifting Is “Irresponsible And Perilous,” Expert Says

We continue the coronavirus-related news with recent reports coming from the UK.

The Independent UK noted a little while ago that the British Medical Association has warned that the coronavirus could re-tighten its grip while people are still unprotected by full vaccination.

The same online publication that we mentioned above notes that the doctors’ union said it was irresponsible and “perilous” to lift England’s lockdown on 19 July.

July 19 brings UK lockdown lifting.

It’s also important to note the fact that these comments came after Boris Johnson announced that “legal requirements for social distancing and mask-wearing would end on 19 July in England.

Also, he urged people to continue to observe the practices and admitted the fact that the pandemic was not over.

It’s been also reported that a German ethics official called the decision to end almost all legal rules designed to prevent Covid-19’s spread a “highly risky experiment”.

The UK government is allegedly “washing their hands” regarding kids’ safety

Tim Bowen, president of the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT), has accused the government of the following amidst the planned easing of the rules next week.

“washing their hands of the responsibility and the safety of children, families and school staff”

Coronavirus in the news

In other recent news, Fox News notes that almost half of the country’s recent COVID-19 deaths are of people who have been vaccinated.

But doctors and scientists aren’t sounding the alarm about the apparently high proportion of deaths among the vaccinated population.

It’s also important to note the fact that experts say progress made across the entire US is being threatened by low-vaccinated regions.

It’s been also revealed that the Delta variant is displaying a worrying ability to evade the vaccine and cause severe illness. Stay tuned for more news, and make sure to stay safe.
