Elon Musk Brings Exhilarating Prediction About Going to Mars

Mars is not too far from Earth, compared to any known exoplanet. The Red Planet is practically “next-door”, although it’s placed at a minimum of 54.6 million kilometers. With the right tech magic, astronomers can land there one day.

Humanity has sent rovers to Mars, and not once. NASA is responsible for sending the rovers known as Sojourner, Spirit and Opportunity, Curiosity, and Perseverance, to our neighboring planet. Therefore, why would it be a lot more complicated to send humans to the planet as well?

The truth is, sending humans is a lot more difficult. The human body needs to adapt to certain environmental conditions, even while being protected by the spacesuit. Unpredictable scenarios could always appear in space. But the good news is that Elon Musk is confident that humans will land on Mars sooner than expected.

Landing on Mars in a maximum of five years?

According to CNBC.com, the famous billionaire Elon Musk has a new prediction that will delight many. He believes that sending humans to the Red Planet within 5 years from now is a feasible project. He is also confident that his SpaceX company will be the one responsible for the historic landing.

While speaking for the Time Magazine, Elon Musk declared:

I’ll be surprised if we’re not landing on Mars within five years.

Musk’s plans include building a self-sustaining city with hydroponic farms powered by the Sun. He’s even confident that humans could permanently live there. Animals aren’t ruled out from the equation, either. The billionaire said for the same Time Magazine:

Sort of like a futuristic Noah’s ark. We’ll bring more than two, though — it’s a little weird if there’s only two.
