You Must Know What the CDC Has to Say About COVID-19 Vaccination for Pregnant Women

You might have a pregnant wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, aunt, or friend. Or maybe you’ll have one in the future. Maybe you’re already a pregnant woman yourself. We were all born from a pregnant woman, which is wonderful. Therefore, it’s important to know about the latest statements of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) when it comes to COVID vaccinations for the gals who are preparing to bring another human being to the world.
The CDC announces that COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective for both pregnant women and their babies. Those willing to be pregnant in the future should also not have worries while choosing to get vaccinated for COVID.

COVID vaccines are safe for pregnancy

Yesterday, August 11, the CDC recommended via its website for pregnant women to get a coronavirus vaccine, stating that it’s safe and effective. There seems to be an increased risk of severe illness for pregnant people who get infected with the coronavirus, which is another strong reason to get a vaccine.

COVID vaccines don’t harm the pregnancy in any way, according to the CDC, which is another great news.
The Government agency said the following on its website at cdc.gov, with no room for interpretation:

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all people aged 12 years and older, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future. Pregnant and recently pregnant people are more likely to get severely ill with COVID-19 compared with non-pregnant people. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine can protect you from severe illness from COVID-19.
