The officials and doctors are still trying to convince people to accept COVID vaccinations, even though a significant part of the world doesn’t agree to be injected with either of the jabs developed by Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, or other manufacturers.
Some people obviously become even more reluctant regarding the vaccination for the coronavirus if they have been infected with COVID in the past and recovered. According to a new article from ABC News, that would be a mistake, especially in the current context of the Delta variant surging in the US.
Doctors are urging everyone to get vaccinated
ABC News writes that doctors are currently urging everyone to accept a COVID vaccine, including even those who have already gotten the coronavirus and recovered. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claims that getting vaccinated after you’ve recovered from COVID infection will even lead to a higher level of protection compared to infection alone.

Also, according to some studies, vaccines are likely to offer protection that will last a minimum of eight months. On the other side, much less is known regarding how long immunity lasts after a person recovers from COVID.
Dr. Simone Wildes, who is an infectious disease physician from South Shore Health, declared for ABC News:
For those who have had COVID and are wondering whether or not to get vaccinated, I would absolutely encourage them to do so now to protect themselves and others.
According to Our World in Data, about 49.2% of the entire US population is fully vaccinated against COVID. Furthermore, 3.69 billion vaccine doses have been administered worldwide, while 30.33 million are currently administrated every day.
Worldometers.info reveals that since the beginning of the COVID pandemic in the US, the country has reported a total of over 34.9 million infections and a death toll of more than 624,000 souls.

How long should I take before I can get vaccinated after recovering from covid 19…?
