Another case of an elderly woman from Nebraska reminds us all that there’s no such thing as one hundred percent effectiveness for the COVID-19 vaccines, regardless of how much some political leaders try to convince us otherwise. Even those who developed the vaccines had always been saying that the drugs are a little less than 100 percent efficient.
101Now.com reveals that according to the Department of Health and Human Services, a woman over 80 years old got sick with COVID and was hospitalized more than 14 days after she received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine for the coronavirus. Later on, she passed away. The woman was also suffering from underlying medical conditions, and she was a resident in the Two Rivers Public Health District.
Is the vaccine the best protection against COVID?
Jeremy Eschliman, the Health Director for Two Rivers, insists that taking the vaccine remains the best protection against the coronavirus. However, he admits that no vaccine can prevent 100% of illness.
The Department of Health and Human Services released the following statement:
Weekly deaths due to COVID-19 appear to be the lowest they’ve been since March 2020 and vaccines have likely played the biggest role in the steep decline. Cases of COVID-19 have declined substantially in long-term care facilities and across the state since vaccinations became available, underscoring the tremendous efficacy of the vaccine. Still, a small number of elderly and immunosuppressed patients may not mount a strong immune response, hence it’s all of our duty and responsibility to get vaccinated to further protect ourselves and the most vulnerable among us.
A total of about 95 million people living in the US had been fully vaccinated for COVID, and even more are expected to be added to the list in the near future.
Its strange how so many people are dying after getting the covid vaccine. Of course no one will admit that they died from it.
