Surely if you have not been living in a cave for the last eighteen months, you know very well the classical symptoms that a person infected with COVID-19 has to deal with: shortness of breath, fever, dry cough, and fatigue. But the medical experts are revealing more and more ways that the coronavirus manifests into the human body.
The new Delta variant of COVID that emerged in India and spreading rapidly across the UK is now bringing more symptoms for those infected, according to the Wales Online publication.
Watch out for headaches and sore throat
As BirminghamLive reveals, scientists are raising the alarm for new signs that people should be aware of, and research has found that headaches and sore throat have become more common among those infected with COVID. Therefore, it wasn’t enough that the coronavirus spreads incredibly fast and that it seems to be back in business in the UK just when the country’s population were hoping for the end of the pandemic. The new mutation seems to had been made COVID even stronger. What’s perhaps even more worrying is that, according to The Sun, the new Delta variant is spreading among younger people.

Tim Spector is a professor who led the new study, and he confirmed that the current COVID symptoms among people facing the Delta variant are, first of all, headaches and sore throat. Runny nose and fever come second, while cough occupies fifth place.
According to CBS News, Pfizer’s CEO Albert Bourla is confident that his vaccine is able to offer enough protection against the new Delta variant of the coronavirus. He said that “We will not need a special vaccine for it. The current vaccine should cover it.”
Sky News reveals that amid the rising number of infections with the Delta variant in the UK, PM Boris Johnson announced a delay of four weeks in lifting lockdown restrictions in England.
