The situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in the US continues to remain alarming, which means that extra measures are needed. Over 415,000 people were killed in the US by the new coronavirus.

Masks become mandatory in all federal buildings and lands
As CNN says, Jeff Zients, who is a counselor of President Biden, says that the mask executive action will “require compliance with CDC guidance on mask-wearing and physical distancing in federal buildings, on federal lands, and by federal employees and contractors.”
Joe Biden will call on public health officials, governors, business leaders, and others to impose masks and other public measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Zients added:
