Anthony Fauci Blasts Nicki Minaj Following Her Covid/Impotence-Related Claims

The novel coronavirus continues to make headlines all over the world, and the subjects regarding the terrible pandemic have also penetrated the celebrity world.

Just in case you were too busy reading the latest news about the coronavirus vaccines and viable treatments, and you did not know the latest news involving Nicki Minaj – here we go.

Earlier this week, Minaj said she didn’t attend the 2021 Met Gala because attendees were required to be vaccinated, according to the latest reports coming from NME.

The rapper has not been vaccinated yet but said she would “once I feel I’ve done enough research.” She also said her cousin in Trinidad “won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent.”

Check out what more she had to say about the subject:

“His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

Anthony Fauci intervened and blasted Minaj for what she had to say about the issue.

Fauci responds to Nicki Minaj’s claims

During an interview with Jake Tapper on The Lead, Fauci was asked whether the three vaccines currently available in the US – Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson – can cause any reproductive issues – of course, this was a reference to what the rapper said, as we explained above.

“The answer to that, Jake, is a resounding no,” Fauci responded. He continued and said the following:

“There’s no evidence that it happens nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen.”

Fauci in the news

Fauci has been making lots of headlines involving the novel coronavirus. Just the other day, we revealed that another issue worth mentioning about the pandemic and the efforts to stop it is making Covid-19 vaccines mandatory.

ABCNews notes that the nation’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said he would support mandating the Covid-19 vaccines for air travel.

“I would support that,” Dr. Fauci told The Skimm podcast on Friday. He continued and said the following:

“If you want to get on a plane and travel with other people … you should be vaccinated.”

The data that supports the idea comes from a study conducted by the Department of Defense in partnership with United Airlines.
