The Telegraph addresses the need for an investigation
An all-party group of MPs has raised concerns that the UK’s medical regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), was aware of heart and clotting issues related to Covid vaccines as early as February 2021 but did not promptly highlight the problems for several months.
The MHRA is responsible for approving drugs and devices, as well as monitoring the side effects caused by treatments. The MPs are calling for an investigation into the MHRA’s handling of vaccine side effects.
But the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) on pandemic response and recovery, an influential group of MPs, has raised “serious patient safety concerns”.
