You don’t see every day a meteor turning night into day. You just have to witness such a sight! You may take it as a divine warning. You might believe that aliens are crashing on our planet. You might think that it’s the end of the world. You may find it as an opportunity to say, “Look, the spaceships of the great NASA are malfunctioning again!”.
Regardless of how you wish to perceive it, such an event will remain in your mind forever. First and foremost, it will be a reminder of the fact that our planet is indeed helpless in the vastness of the Universe, regardless of how much we try to convince ourselves otherwise.
Huge meteor astonishes the Norwegians and reaches the ground
CNN reveals that a meteor that amazed people due to its enormous size lit up the night sky of Norway early Sunday morning at 1 a.m. Some remnants came crashing down in Lier, meaning about 15 miles away from the capital Oslo.

Steinar Midtskogen, who is a spokesperson for the Norwegian Meteor Network, declared for CNN via email:
A minute later or more a loud rumbling sound could be heard over a large area, perhaps up to 100 km (about 62 miles) away from where the meteor was seen straight overhead.
The man also adds:
Doors and hatches were blown open and there were gusts of wind. No damage has been reported, though.
Therefore, those hoping for aliens still have a lot to wait. No green fellows with pointy ears are to blame this time.
