How would humanity deal with a huge asteroid the size of the Eiffel Tower? Most probably, scientists aren’t prepared for such an encounter, and Nostradamus brought terrible news for the year 2021. The highly renowned astrologer is likely to have predicted accurately 3797 events out of 6,338.
Wionews.com writes that Nostradamus had a jaw-dropping prediction for the early stages of 2021: Earth will be hit by a gigantic asteroid the size of the Eiffel Tower.
2021 CO247 enters the scene
2021 CO247 is the asteroid in question, and it’s about 0.83 times Eiffel Tower’s height. The asteroid is hurtling through space at tremendous speeds. Even a grain of sand can pierce the human body easily if it travels at a fast enough speed.
With or without 2021 CO247, Earth is still in the vicinity of many asteroids that pass by our planet and eventually crash into the Sun. NASA is constantly monitoring the sky in order to detect Near-Earth Objects (NEOs), but being able to detect any potential threat is impossible. The sky is enormous, even for NASA’s fancy ‘toys.’
In 2013, when NASA’s NEO detector wasn’t active, the Chelyabinsk meteor and superbolide entered our planet’s atmosphere in Russia on Febryary 15, 2013. The hour of the meteor’s arrival was about 09:20 YEKT (03:20 UTC). The meteor itself was measuring 66 feet, and it was hurtling through space at a speed of 19.16 ± 0.15 kilometers per second (60,000–69,000 km/h or 40,000–42,900 mph). The superbolide meteor became prevalent over the southern Ural region. The light from the meteor was even brighter than the Sun, and it was observed by many people of the region and from neighbouring republics.
Whether the prediction of Nostradamus for 2021 is true or not, we’ll find out for sure pretty soon. Let’s hope that we won’t find out in a violent way.
I have read quite a few of Mr. N.s supposed predictions….it seems to be a real stretch…
