As I reported the other day, the UK’s High Court decided that Julian Assange has the right to appeal his extradition to the US. But, on the other hand, they also stated that the fact that the CIA plotted to murder him is irrelevant. Check out more details about the issue, and also take a look at what Edward Snowden believes about this.
UK’s High Court decision in Julian Assange’s case
The other day, the London High Court has made a ruling that Julian Assange will have the opportunity to appeal his extradition to the United States. He has been incarcerated in Belmarsh Prison for five years due to the crime of publishing information that exposed war crimes. However, this is not about espionage.
The mainstream media also published the same information but has not faced any consequences. This is about suppressing anyone who questions the narrative and publishes information that the government disapproves of or does not benefit from.
BREAKING: Julian Assange has been granted permission to appeal extradition to the US on 3 of 9 grounds: violates right to freedom of expression; may face prejudice on grounds of nationality; US prosecution exposes him to the death penalty #FreeAssangeNOW pic.twitter.com/4mPQEMVtdK

It’s also worth noting the fact that the High Court said that the fact that the CIA plotted to murder Assange is irrelevant.
Incredibly, the High Court has refused to admit fresh evidence of CIA plots to kidnap or kill Julian Assange.
The judges say the rationale for kidnapping or killing Assange would be removed if he is extradited, and the evidence is thus not worth consideration.

Edward Snowden also believed that this is something that is worth mentioning:
Behold the dazzling jurisprudence of the “High Court:”
“We can ignore that the US sought to kill or kidnap this journalist, because hand-delivering him to their dungeons will equally satisfy their outrageously criminal motive, so let’s just pretend it didn’t happen. Brunch?” https://t.co/UHTSHVqjlW

Someone commented: “People often say, “MSM lies” and often, they do because the threats to their person, their families, their careers are so significant and disturbing, they buckle under the weight. Most people don’t know what it means to be scared for your life. The type of bravery required to do true journalism is something that should be treasured and celebrated.”
It remains to be seen what will happen to Assange because his fate is strongly related to the freedom of the press and us all.
