Morning sickness in pregnant women is something normal. But what to do when you just can’t get out of bed in the morning?
How can you diminish or even get rid of morning sickness?
Try to have a good night’s sleep – To get the most out of your sleep during pregnancy, you can use a sleeping mask to block any ray of light and a special pregnant pillow that can hold your back and neck properly.
Eat small portions of food throughout the day – This healthy habit reduces the risk of experiencing morning sickness. In the case of an empty stomach, the acids in the stomach juice with nothing to consume will amplify the feeling of nausea.

Drink lots of liquids – It is recommended that pregnant women consume at least 8 glasses of water per day. Daytime hydration is extremely important, which also diminishes nausea.
Consume ginger – To get rid of nausea you can try to add a slice of raw ginger to the water or tea you drink, you can consume ginger tea or ginger-containing capsules. Also, snacks such as ginger cookies may prove effective, but it is not recommended to consume more than 1,000 mg of ginger per day.
Keep your mind busy – It is important that you have some activities to do every day to stop thinking about nausea. You can try playing cards, reading or watching TV.
Keep foods or herbs with fresh flavors close to you – The most effective smells to diminish morning sickness have been found to be lemon and rosemary.
Consume vitamin B6 – In some cases, vitamin B6 has helped relieve symptoms of nausea, but consult your doctor before taking it.
Identify the causes of nausea and try to avoid them. These factors may include certain types of food, especially fatty foods, or odors (perfume, coffee, cigarettes).
