NASA Prepares to Study Winds From the Atmosphere in a Unique Way

NASA is once again up to important plans, as the American space agency launched on Sunday its KiNET-X sounding rocket from the Wallops Island facility (Virginia). The rocket was lifted into the air at about 8:45 p.m., and it has a pretty unique mission: to release vapour tracers in the atmosphere for studying winds.
The big news was brought by ClickOrlando.com, and it marks a historic moment. The mission is not easy at all, as it could have been delayed until later this year because the Moon almost hindered the sighting of the vapours.

NASA never seems to rest when it comes to exciting space exploration. Early this month, our website wrote about an international team of scientists claiming to find evidence of relatively simple life forms on Mars. Known as ‘fungus-like Martian specimens’, the discovery immediately aroused the attention of experts.
The findings are sustained by photos taken by the NASA Curiosity and Opportunity rovers, as well as the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, according to the scientists involved.
The research team released the following statement, as cited by Futurism.com:

Fungi thrive in radiation intense environments,
Sequential photos document that fungus-like Martian specimens emerge from the soil and increase in size, including those resembling puffballs.

The million-dollar question now arises: are there any aliens living on Mars if further studies will approve the discovery of the fungus? What’s for sure is that for the moment, there’s no reason to believe that any extraterrestrial beings dwelling on the Red Planet’s surface are anything like we’ve all seen in sci-fi movies. Life can take multiple forms, perhaps even an infinite amount, and all scientists can do is imagine it close to what we see on our planet. Life on another object from the Solar System could be far more different than anything humanity has ever seen until now. However, NASA scientists are optimistic that they will unveil the mystery one day.
