Google Maps or Waze?
Google Maps has a long history since it’s currently used by over 154 million monthly users. The app was launched sixteen years ago, and going for a car ride without it these days seems impossible. Google Maps’ description from Google Play Store is relevant enough:
Navigate your world faster and easier with Google Maps. Over 220 countries and territories mapped and hundreds of millions of businesses and places on the map. Get real-time GPS navigation, traffic, and transit info, and explore local neighborhoods by knowing where to eat, drink and go – no matter what part of the world you’re in.
On the other hand, Waze is also owned by Google since 2013, but it was initially released in 2006 and was known by the name of Waze Mobile. Waze has the advantage of offering real-time information when it comes to road closures, traffic alerts, and so on.
It’s hard to say if Waze is better than Google Maps or vice versa, as it ultimately depends on every person’s perceptions. If you ask us, Google Maps is slightly better, with or without “black holes”.
