There’s been a massive debate about how covid 19 disease is transmitted by the vaccinated people vs. the unvaccinated ones.
A new study analyzed by The Guardian suggests that people who are fully vaccinated against the covid 19 disease but who manage to catch the virus are just as infectious to others in their household as infected unvaccinated individuals.
The Guardian begins their article by noting that households are a vital setting for the transmission of Covid infections with frequent, prolonged daily contact with an infected person linked to an increased risk of catching the virus.
New data is out
On the other hand, there are still some questions that have remained. These include “the true proportion of household contacts who become infected from an initial case, the duration of their infection, and the impact of vaccination on the risk of transmitting the virus and the chance of catching it.”
The same article we mentioned above notes that a new study has revealed that while vaccination against Covid is vital to preventing severe disease and death, even fully vaccinated individuals catch the virus – and pass it on.
The study, which was published in The Lancet suggests that whether a person is fully vaccinated or unvaccinated makes little or no difference to how infectious they are to household contacts. We suggest that you check out the complete study on the official website.
New motion from the European Parliament
More data is slowly getting out about the numbers of victims following the covid 19 vaccines, according to the official notes coming from the European Parliament.
On the official website of the EP, we can see the official data regarding a motion for a European Parliament resolution on creating a European compensation fund for victims of the covid 19 vaccines. Check out more details about this in our previous article.
