Accoridng to the latest reports, it seems that the use of Tylenol is linked to autism in kids if they consume the treatment between 12 and 18 months. Check out the latest reports about this.
Here is the tweet that sheds more light on the matter.
???? Shocking Study: giving a child TYLENOL linked to Dramatic increase in Autism.
“[If Tylenol’s given] you’re 2000% more likely to have a child w/autism than if you don’t give them any acetaminophen from 12 to 18 months.”pic.twitter.com/zjgQPcaiHF

It’s also been demonstrated that PRENATAL exposure to Tylenol greatly increases Autism & ADHD risk.
“At least 14 epidemiological studies now indicate that prenatal exposure to [Tylenol] is associated w/neurodevelopmental problems” https://t.co/84gJ8mKhXn

The study begins by stating the following:
“Paracetamol (acetaminophen) use during pregnancy and early childhood was accepted as safe in the 1970s, but is now a subject of considerable concern. Careful analysis shows that initial acceptance of the drug was based on the false assumption that drug interactions in babies and adults are the same and on a complete absence of knowledge regarding the impact of the drug on brain development.”
More than that, it’s been also revealed the following issue: “At least fourteen epidemiological studies now indicate that prenatal exposure to paracetamol is associated with neurodevelopmental problems.”
In the study’s abstract, it has also been revealed that circumstantial evidence regarding postnatal exposure to the drug is abundant and includes at least three otherwise unexplained temporal relationships, data from laboratory animal studies, several miscellaneous and otherwise unexplained correlations, and a lack of alternative suspects that fit the evidence-derived profile.
According to the same reports, it seems that it can be concluded without any reasonable doubt that oxidative stress puts some babies and children at risk of paracetamol-induced neurodevelopmental injury and that postnatal exposure to paracetamol in those susceptible babies and children is responsible for many, if not most cases of ASD.
