Director Hajime Tabata addressed the Steam gaming community and stated that Final Fantasy XV was built from zero, without using any elements from the console versions of the game. For this reason, the PC game is being advertised as a more advanced version, compared to the Final Fantasy XV game released for console in 2016.
Tabata confirmed that the team working on game is efficiently using the time they have in order to polish the game and complete within the deadline. He also appealed to the patience of the PC gamers, reassuring them that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is an entirely new experience, that was specifically built for PC gameplay and that it shares no elements with the console version, reason for which it is situated on top of what Square Enix delivered for console play.
The release date for Final Fantasy XV was announced to be March 6th, in a glamorous worldwide event, which implies that the game will be released at different times, depending on the geographical area and timezone.
Together with the release of the game on PC, director Hajime Tabata also confirmed that there will be mod support for the game, which gives fans of the game an exciting perspective on the upcoming launch. Mod support means extended gaming possibilities and unlimited potential. However, it is not yet confirmed if the mod support will be available at launch, or if it will come as a later update to the game.
The PC version of Final Fantasy XV will bring fans a very good graphics quality, which could make any console owner jealous, considering that it will run in both 4K, and 8K with HDR10. At the same time, the graphic is enhanced through various new technologies, ensured by Nvidia, this alone being a very good argument that stimulates the excitement of all Final Fantasy fans out there.
