Doctors Raise Awareness for Side Effects of The COVID-19 Vaccine

The ongoing pandemic is approaching its end with every day that passes, as humanity will soon get a vaccine for the terrible COVID-19 disease. A second wave is hitting hard Europe, with tens of thousands of infections every day in countries like France, Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, and more. Experts say that the planet will be dealing with a third wave of the pandemic in February-March 2021, but let’s hope it won’t be the case.

The two American companies Pfizer and Moderna both propose vaccines for COVID-19, and they had very promising results during the trials. It’s only a matter of time until vaccines for the pandemic virus will be fully approved, but we also have to be aware of the possible side effects.

Pfizer and Moderna admit the possible side effects

Those who will be injected with a vaccine developed by Pfizer or Moderna will experience side effects like mild symptoms for COVID-19: headaches, chills, and muscle pain. Two doses of the vaccine will be required for each person, and Dr. Sandra Fryhofer manifests her concern that those vaccinated will become too skeptical to come back for the second dose because of the unpleasant side effects.

During a recent meeting with CDC advisors, doctors urged drugmakers and public health officials that they must be transparent about side effects that those vaccinated could experience.

During a meeting with the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices), Dr. Sandra Fryhofer declared:

We really need to make patients aware that this is not going to be a walk in the park,

They are going to know they had a vaccine. They are probably not going to feel wonderful. But they’ve got to come back for that second dose.

Those who participated in the COVID-19 vaccine trials of Pfizer and Moderna accused side effects like headaches, body aches, fever, fatigue, and more. Luckily, all of the symptoms went away after a day or several days more.
