The Hiccups
Your baby probably has hiccups if they are making jerky movements on a regular basis. Isn’t it the very sweetest thing you’ve ever witnessed? Around the 21st to the 24th week of your pregnancy, you may feel such a movement, and you may even be able to see them on the outside!
Throughout the course of your pregnancy, you might experience your baby having hiccups every once in a while.
Floating, Bubbling, or Flitting Like Butterflies
Between the period of 18 and 22 weeks, you may initially compare these delicate motions to fluttering or “butterflies.” It’s also possible that they seem to be gas bubbles.
Moves that Include Kicks, Turns, and Twists
Turn and twist, baby! You may start to feel your baby kick and stretch between the period of 25 and 28 weeks, and the sensation will be unlike any other. Around the 28th week of your pregnancy, you might experience your baby transfer from a head-down position to a feet-down position or even move laterally.
When and how frequently do babies begin to move?
After 18 to 20 weeks, you may find that some times of the day are when your baby moves more frequently than others. The bustle and commotion that occur during the daily hours are comforting to infants. As a result, babies often rest during the day and are alert throughout the night.
You should start to feel your baby move multiple times a day, sometime between the ages of 30 and 32 weeks, and by the time you reach 40 weeks, your baby will have grown significantly and won’t have as much room to move as before. It is likely that you will observe fewer “major” movements than you did previously.
